TRANSPORT

Cakes are very delicate. They dont like heat or rally driving. Follow these tips for safe transport:

Place cake on a flat surface in your car, either in the trunk or the passenger foot-space. Do not put it on the seat or carry it on your lap.

On warm days put your air conditioning on and keep the car cool.

Treat your cake like a new baby. Drive carefully, don't break or accelerate too hard. Take corners slowly and carefully.

Aim to get your cake in the fridge as soon as possible. Don't leave your cake in your car whilst you do other tasks as your cake will get too hot and melt.

With a little care, your cake can be transported safely. Please note KMcakes does not accept responsibility for any damage after cakes have left our premisis.

STORAGE

Ready-to-eat cakes should be stored in the fridge. They can be consumed up to 2 days after collection.

Remove your cake from the fridge and bring it back to room temperature (for 1-2 hours) before eating.

These cakes can not survive hot or sunny conditions. Please do not leave in full sun as the cake will melt.
