In this class you will learn to decorate cupcakes beautifully using buttercream and a variety of piping nozzles. You will create a classic swirl, rosettes, dots and frills.
This class is the perfect start to cake decorating.
During the class you will learn:
About the different types of buttercream
How to pipe using various piping nozzles
Techniques using essential Wilton 1M and 2D nozzles
How to pipe a rosette
How to pipe a classic swirl
How to achieve a 2-tone effect.
You will take away a set of 6 decorated buttercream cupcakes, and leave with the confidence to decorate your own cupcakes at home.

This workshop is designed for absolute beginners. So if you've never picked up a piping bag in your life, this is your workshop!
We will start at the very beginning. I'll teach you how to fill a piping bag and then we'll take it
step by step from there.
There will be pleanty of time to ask questions.
With a very small group (max 6 participants) you will get the attention you need to really learn.
I'll help and support you every step of the way so that you can produce results you want to show the world!

What should I wear to my class?
I recommend comfortable clothing and flat, closed-toe, non-slip shoes.
What should I bring to my class? Do I need to buy equipment?
Just bring yourself, an apron and a smile.
Can I take photos and film in class?
You are welcome to take photos during the class but please don't film.
Will there be a break?
Yes. During the break, coffee and tea plus a sweet snack will be provided.
How many other students will be in my class?
I want to offer you the attention you need to really master the techniques you will be learning, so the maximum number of students is 6. The course will go ahead when at least 4 students have signed up.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of the class so you can relax and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and so we can start on time.
